- Method for creating DICOM file from output image of Non-DICOM medical image equipment

PURPOSE: A method is provided to be capable of generating a file suitable for a DICOM standard from an image taken from a non-DICOM medical equipment not supporting DICOM. CONSTITUTION: An image from a non-DICOM medical image equipment is input to a frame grabber(S201). If a capture start signal is generated, a still image is captured(S202). The captured still image is stored at a predetermined region of a hard disk. If a capture end signal is generated(S206), a DICOM multi frame file is generated by storing a plurality of still images of the hard disk to a data region of a DICOM format file(S207). After the capture start signal is received, whether a single frame or a multi frame is captured from an output image from the medical image equipment(S203). If being at a single frame mode, the captured still image is stored in the hard disk at a point of time when the capture start signal is received(S204).
