PURPOSE: A fire-extinguishing system able to charge gaseous fire-fighting agent in piping is provided by comprising a charging pipe and an outlet valve for the agent connected to the pipe to discharge the gaseous agent immediately when opening the outlet valve. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a room(1) in a building, a storage piping(25) to hold the fire-fighting agent at top portion of the room(1), one or more discharging nozzles(2) connected to the piping(25), a second connection line(26) between the piping(25) and the nozzles(2) not to flow the agent out of the piping(25), a valve opening device(27) to control discharge of the agent and an outlet valve(28) coupled to the device(27). The device(27) holds the agent in the piping(25) at ordinary time while discharging the agent when there is a fire.
