PURPOSE: A system for remotely monitoring and controlling the Internet using a wire/wireless external bus of a computer is provided to configure a server by connecting a set top box, and to connect the server with a very high speed Internet service, then to connect the server with a client by using a center server, thereby improving automating and monitoring functions and increasing operational convenience. CONSTITUTION: A server is connected to a set top box, and configures a computer for performing remote controlling and monitoring functions. The computer has a CPU, a memory, and an LAN. The CPU processes and executes a command. The memory stores and calls an execution file. The LAN is connected to an external Internet network. A modem receives a service of a very high speed communication network provider. The computer has an external bus port connected to the set top box. The external bus port is a USB port provided from a general PC or a notebook computer, or is a wire/wireless port.
