MOBILE E-LEARNING SOLUTION BASED ON XML

摘要

PURPOSE: A mobile e-learning solution is provided to offer a viewer for enabling a user to produce education contents or to browse education contents at a mobile device. CONSTITUTION: The solution comprises an XML based system construction, a legacy system integration, and a contents production tool. The XML based system construction tool transmits produced contents to a web server, and then, the contents are stored at a database. The contents can be transmitted to a PC, a mobile phone or a PDA, and be read via an integrated viewer. The legacy system integration tool stores the conventional contents with the new contents at a database, and converts the conventional contents into an XML format by using a built-in conversion function before the contents are transmitted to the PC or PDA. The contents production tool, downloadable at the PC or PDA, enables a user to produce the XML contents.
