Solidification of coal fly ash by mixing sulfuric acid

摘要

PURPOSE: Provided are solidified coal ash products having high compression strength by pressing the mixture of coal ash and sulfuric acid without addition of additives and sintering. CONSTITUTION: The solidified coal ash products are produced by mixing 100g of coal ash generated from steam power plants, 50ml of H2SO4(96%) and 10ml of water for 3-5min, and forming under pressure of 20kg/cm2 for 15min. The resultant products having 400kgf/cm2 of compression strength are used as construction materials such as boards, blocks, flowerpots, etc.
