FLOW METER FOR OPEN CHANNEL AND THEREOF FLOW MEASURING METHOD BY USING PRINCIPLE OF ELECTROMAGNETIC INDUCTION

PURPOSE: An open channel flowmeter and a method for measuring a flow rate by using the same are provided to precisely measure the flow rate while reducing waste of energy and improving reliability of measuring data. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic force generator(20) is installed at a bottom of a channel(10). An electromotive power detecting electrode(30) is accommodated in the magnetic force generator(20). The magnetic force generator(20) and the electromotive power detecting electrode(30) are connected to a calculator(40) through conductive lines(62). An ultrasonic water level measuring device(50) is installed on the surface of fluid in the channel(10) so as to measure a fluid level. The ultrasonic water level measuring device(50) is electrically connected to the calculator(40).
