It is judged whether a purchase of a gift certificate exists(S103). If a purchase of a gift certificate exists, a company(1210) which issues a gift certificate. A key input unit inputs a nominal value(1220) of the gift certificate. Payment request information including credit purchase information and purchase information of the gift certificate are transmitted to a computer system of a VAN through a modem or a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network)(S104).
