PURPOSE: An identification method on the Internet and a method for opening an on-line stock account using the same are provided to easily open the stock account through on-line by processing an identification process on the Internet. CONSTITUTION: A customer logs in to a system of a security company by connecting to a web page of the security company or downloading and installing an HTS(Home Trading Software)(S201). The user agrees with a stipulation for opening the stock account and inputs the customer information needed to open the stock account(S204,S205). The system executes an identification process based on the customer information(S206). After the identification, the stock account of the customer is opened(S207).
