PURPOSE: A Cu-Ag-Zr alloy is provided which not only maintains high electrical conductivity, but also has softening temperature by performing heat treatment after alloying Ag having less electrical conductivity drop and Zr having superior recrystallization temperature increasing effect to Cu. CONSTITUTION: The Cu-Ag-Zr alloy having high conductivity and heat resistance is obtained by heat treating a resulting Cu-Ag-Zr alloy at a temperature of 500 to 650 deg.C after alloying 0.3 wt.% or less of Ag and 0.1 wt.% or less of Zr to Cu, wherein there is a limit in recrystallization temperature increase although electrical conductivity is not greatly reduced if Ag content in the Cu-Ag-Zr alloy is 0.1 wt.% or more, and electrical conductivity is greatly reduced while recrystallization temperature increasing effect is not great if Zr content in the Cu-Ag-Zr alloy is 0.02 wt.% or more, and wherein the Cu-Ag-Zr alloy has 500 deg.C or more of recrystallization temperature and electrical conductivity and 90% or more of IACS (international annealed copper standard) by heat treating the alloyed material after alloying Ag having less electrical conductivity drop and Zr having high recrystallization temperature increasing effect to Cu.
