PURPOSE: A method of producing the subject decoction by treating herbal extract with an intestinal bacteria flora is provided. The decoction has improved flavor by removing bitterness and organoleptic properties and thus can be effectively used by children or a person sensitive to an allergen such as a herbal plant scent. CONSTITUTION: To produce the subject decoction, herbal extracts are added with an intestinal bacteria flora with the cell number of 10¬7 to 10¬9 for 20 to 24hr at a pH of 5.5 to 7.5 and a temperature of 25 to 40deg.C. The intestinal bacteria flora is at least one selected from the group consisting of Streptococcus faecalis, Streptococcus salivarius, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Clostridium butyricum, Lactobacillus lactis, Lactobacillus brebis and Lactobacillus casei.
