Development of coagulation for wastewater treatment

PURPOSE: Provided is coagulant for water treatment, the coagulant being capable of removing COD and color. CONSTITUTION: The coagulant is consisted of an iron containing materials such as ferrous chloride and ferrous sulfate, and bittern containing Mg¬+2 and Ca¬+2 ions, wherein the coagulant is fed to colored or alkaline wastewater in an amount of 1000 to 9000 mg/L.
