-2000 Method for management fault information in a CDMA-2000 network manager

摘要

PURPOSE: A method for managing fault information of a CDMA2000 network manager is provided to collectively manage assortment history of the fault information when being applied to a management application using an SNMP, thereby improving convenience and managerial efficiency of an operator. CONSTITUTION: A network manager receives a trap message(S110), and analyzes the received trap message to extract an OID(Object Identifier), an index, and a value(S120). The network manager compares the extracted data with a value stored in a database, and performs a fault-associated process(S130). The manager decides a kind of a fault with the OID, finds out fault information with the index, and decides a state change by comparing existing fault information with a current state. The network manager secondarily processes the received fault information to show the information to an operator(S140).
