PURPOSE: A propagation method of Pinus rigida x P. taeda hybrid (Pinus rigitaeda) through somatic embryogenesis technique is provided, thereby rapidly mass-producing high quality pine trees. CONSTITUTION: A propagation method of Pinus rigida x P. taeda hybrid (Pinus rigitaeda) through somatic embryogenesis technique comprises the steps of: inducing an embryo developed tissue from the unmatured seed of Pinus rigitaeda; propagating the embryo developed tissue to induce a somatic embryo; germinating the somatic embryo to regenerate to a plant; acclimatizing the regenerated germinating plant to environment; and transplanting the acclimatized plant to the field, wherein the length of seed is 5.4 to 6.2 mm and the length of albumen is 3.6 to 4.7 mm; and the propagation of the embryo developed tissue is carried out by culturing the embryo developed tissue in a darkroom at 25 deg. C for a certain time and culturing the embryo developed tissue under 300 to 3,000 lux.
