PURPOSE: An installation method for a temporary bridge is provided to promote utility by increasing the stress and section of a composite beam, to manufacture a composite beam used for a bridge in a short term, to maximize economical efficiency and constructability, to reduce the stress of a temporary bent and negative reaction force, and to cut down construction expenses by manufacturing simply. CONSTITUTION: The installation method for a temporary bridge(10) comprises the steps of: manufacturing a prestressed composite built-up beam(30) by placing built-up beams connected with upper and lower flanges of upper and lower H-beams(21) vertically on a workbench, then prestressing using a hydraulic jack; installing a backing(40) on a temporary bent(11) of a temporary bridge(10) to install the prestressed composite built-up beam(30); installing the prestressed composite built-up beam(30) on the temporary bent(11), installing a built-up beam(30) on both sides of the temporary bridge(10), installing a prestressed composite built-up beam(30) on the central temporary bent; and installing an upper H-beam(21) between the built-up beam(20) and the prestressed composite built-up beam(30), then connecting on a gusset plate installed on a web of each H-beam by a bolt.
