PURPOSE: An inter-subscriber data service method in MSC(Mobile Switching Center) is to provide an inter-subscriber data service by interconnecting PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) paths for each mobile subscriber connected through IWF(Inter-Working Function). CONSTITUTION: If a call is tried(S1), a transmitting side subscriber call processor of MSCconfirms whether the call is a data call(S2) and connects IWF and a transmitting side mobile data path(S3). If a transmitting side PSTN path is connected(S4), a transmitting side PSTN path processor translates the called number(S5) and confirms whether the associated call is a mobile called signal or PSTN called signal(S6). If it is the PSTN called signal, general data service is provided(S13). If it is the mobile called signal, IWF and a receiving side mobile data path are connected(S7). If a receiving side PSTN path is connected(S8), the transmitting side PSTN path and the receiving side PSTN path are interconnected(S9).
