PURPOSE: Provided are a composition for producing biodegradable molded articles and a process for producing the molded articles by using the composition comprising natural material, the molded articles are harmless to human bodies and environment. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises less than 90pts.wt. of a main material containing at least one selected from wheat flour, rice powder, starch, barley powder, and corn powder, less than 20pts.wt. of an auxiliary material containing a melamine component, less than 90pts.wt. of a binding material containing at least one fiber component selected from mugwort, reeds, wheat stalks, barley straws, rice straws, and cotton, and less than 90pts.wt. of an additive containing at least one selected from powdery lime stone, powdery soil, fine powdery sand, and fine powdery yellow soil. And the molded article is produced by injecting the composition in a mold and molding at a temperature of 100-200deg.C under a pressure of 200-400kg/cm¬2.
