PURPOSE: A wastewater treatment method using poly-saccharides produced by Bacillus sp. EP-P1(KCTC 18027P) is provided, which is characterized in that the treatment prevents problems such as bulking and the breaking of pin-floc and sludge. CONSTITUTION: A wastewater treatment method using poly-saccharides produced by Bacillus sp. EP-P1(KCTC 18027P) prevents pin-floc and sludge from bulking and breaking. The poly-saccharides contain glucose, galactose, fucose, glucuronic acid and pyruvate with 5 millions dalton or more of molecular weight. The Bacillus sp. EP-P1(KCTC 18027P) is cultivated in agar plate containing nutrients such as 3% of glucose, 0.3% of sodium nitrate, 0.1% of potassium phosphate, 0.08% of potassium phosphate(II), 0.05% of magnesium sulfate-7H2O and 0.05% of manganese sulfate.
