PURPOSE: A field emission display device having a built-in spacer supporting unit pixels is provided to enhance a junction characteristic and an alignment characteristic of a spacer by improving a structure of the field emission display device. CONSTITUTION: A cathode electrode(311) as a cathode, a gate electrode(312) as an anode, an emitter tip(313) for emitting electrons, and a field emitter formed as an insulating body(301) are formed on a lower substrate(310). An anode electrode(303) as the anode, a fluorescent body(302), an anti-reflective layer(301) are formed on an upper substrate(300). A spacer(320) is used for maintaining constantly an interval between the upper substrate(300) and the lower substrate(310). A frit(330) is used for sealing a space between the upper substrate(300) and the lower substrate(310) which are bonded by the spacer(320). The amount of electron is controlled by a predetermined electromagnetic field when the predetermined electromagnetic field is applied to the cathode electrode(311) and the gate electrode(312). An intermediate electrode(321) is inserted into the spacer(320) in order to change a direction of the electron.
