METHOD FOR REMOTELY CONTROLLING LOCOMOTIVE BY USING WIRELESS NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method for remotely controlling a locomotive by using a wireless network is provided to prevent an incident of a locomotive and accurately operate it by allowing a central control center to transmit a control message to remotely control the locomotive being manually operated by an engineer. CONSTITUTION: A central control center(1) sends a message to a relay unit through a base unit(2). A transmitting/receiving unit(4) of each locomotive receives the message and transmits it to a distributor(5). The distributor(5) analyzes the message. If the message of the transmitting/receiving unit(4) is an operation message, each engineer transmits an operation signal to a locomotive operation unit(11) according to an operation instruction outputted through an operation instruction terminal(6) to control a locomotive. If the message of the transmitting/receiving unit(4) is a control message, the engineer transmits it to a data analyzer(7). The data analyzer(7) analyzes the controller message and transmits it to a control relay unit(9) through a line distributor(8), and the locomotive is controlled by the locomotive operation unit(11). An operation detector(10) detects an operation state of the locomotive operation unit(11) and transmits it to the central control center(1) through the transmitting/receiving unit(4). The central control center(1) re-operates the locomotive operation unit(11) in a control order.
