An automotive wiper system having one touch type interval mode and control method thereof

PURPOSE: A wiper system having an one-touch type intermittent mode function and a method for controlling the intermittent mode are provided to allow a user to drive safely and improve convenience in use by intermittently control a wiper without changing a resistance value. CONSTITUTION: A wiper system having an one-touch type intermittent mode function includes an interval control switch(2) for intermittently controlling a speed of a wiper by an ETACS(3) connecting an INT(Intermittent) switch(1), and a relay(4) for controlling a wiper driving motor(5) according to output of the ETACS periodically. The ETACS measures signal of the INT switch and the interval control switch and transmits signal to the relay according to a mixed condition of the measured signal to control an intermittent speed of the wiper.
