INSECT REPELLENT CONTAINING PERILLAE HERBA EXTRACT

PURPOSE: An insect repellent composition containing a Perilla frutescens var. acuta Kudoa extract is provided, which has excellent insect pest-repelling effects without exerting harmful effects on a human body and is simple and convenient to use. CONSTITUTION: This insect repellent composition contains 1 to 5% by weight of a Perilla frutescens var. acuta Kudoa extract in a solvent and additionally 0.05 to 0.8% by weight of lemon grass oil, wherein the extract is extracted with water 5 to 15 times and ethanol 5 to 15 times. The solvent is a mixed solution of water and ethanol in a ratio of 0:100 to 50:50.
