PURPOSE: An oil level measuring sensor and a device for measuring an oil level by the sensor are provided to measure a precisely oil level by sensor parts having variable resistance values in response to the change of air temperature, oil temperature and a sinking level of one of the sensor parts, thereby simplifying the structure. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring an oil level by an oil level measuring sensor includes a conduit mounted vertically in an oil tank and having a variable resistance value in accordance with temperature change, a first sensor part(2) contacting air in the oil tank, of which a resistance value variable according to the change of temperature of the air in the oil tank, a second sensor part(3) contacting oil in the oil tank, of which a resistance value variable according to the change of temperature of the oil in the oil tank, and a third sensor part(4) formed between the first and second sensor parts to be sunk in the oil according to the change of oil level in the oil tank, of which a resistance value is variable according to the change of temperature, the temperature being changed by the sinking level of the third sensor part in the oil of the oil tank.
