ELECTRIC BULLETIN BOARD FOR BUS USING EXTERNAL MEMORY AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An electric bulletin board for a bus using an external memory and a method for operating the same are provided to modify, append, and delete bus route information, output information and control information of electric bulletin board. CONSTITUTION: An electric bulletin board(22) displays a still image or a video with respect to information guide, advertising and publicizing contents about a bus necessary at any time. An external memory(23) stores information to be displayed on the electric bulletin board(22), information to be output as a voice, a displaying order and a displaying method. The external memory(23) is manufactured as an FAT(File Allocation Table) structure which is compatible with a general personal PC. A central calculation unit(20) executes a general display control through data programmed in a program memory unit(24) and a data memory unit(25). The program memory unit(24) stores a main program necessary for a display management of the external memory(23) and the electric bulletin board(22). The data memory unit(25) stores and reads information necessary for a display control of the electric bulletin board(22). An electric bulletin board control unit(21) displays a video and a character of the electric bulletin board(22) in accordance with a display control of the central calculation unit(20). An external input/output unit(26) monitors a general operation and transmits information to an exterior. A voice input/output unit(28) amplifies and outputs a position of a bus, a position of the next bus stop, and advertising information of voice data through a speaker in accordance with a display control of the central calculation unit(20). A satellite navigation unit(27) receives a signal from a GPS(Global Positioning System) satellite for searching the next bus stop, and searches a position of a bus.
