Apparatus for Advanced Treatment of BOD in Sewage and Dirty Water

PURPOSE: A system for treating wastewater using iron/steelmaking dust is provided, which is characterized in that insoluble organics are removed by iron/steelmaking dust magnetic particles having opposite electric charge to insoluble organics and activated sludge. Further, insoluble organic residues are adsorbed by activated carbon. CONSTITUTION: The system is composed of a tank(30) for removing adulteration of wastewater; an aeration tank(30) for removing organics by aerobic bacteria; a tank(40) for settling sludge and recycling sludge to the aeration tank(30); a hopper(60) for supplying magnetic particles to supernatant water of the sedimentation tank(40); a tank(70) for mixing supernatant water of the sedimentation tank(40) with magnetic particles; a tower(80) for separating floc containing magnetic particles; and a separator(90) for separating magnetic particles and activated sludge from above floc.
