PURPOSE: A process for manufacturing recycled ingot by using magnesium alloy scraps is provided, which is characterized in that, via selective unit operations such as pickling, agitating and degassing, inclusions entrapped in molten metal is effectively separated in the form of dross and sludge. CONSTITUTION: The process for manufacturing recycled ingot by using magnesium alloy scraps includes: (i) pickling magnesium alloy scraps by dipping in a solution mixture of NaOH and Na3PO4 at 70-100deg.C for 0.5-2.0min; (ii) agitating the molten metal of magnesium alloy scrap at 150rpm; and (iii) degassing by blowing dehumidified Ar gas. In the process, C2Cl6, as an inoculator, is used to modify microstructure of recycled ingot.
