Method and apparatus for pretreating high concentration organic waste water

PURPOSE: A system for pretreating high concentration organic wastewater which increases treatment efficiency over ten times compared with conventional system is provided. CONSTITUTION: The system includes a blower(12) which supplies air into reactor; a diffuser(13) which ejects air supplied from the blower into wastewater; a pH sensor(15); a thermometer(17); an electroconductivity sensor(18); a reactor(10) in which organics are decomposed by microorganism; a first cooler(14) which is installed outside of the reactor to prevent temperature elevation in the reactor due to microorganism metabolism; a clarifier(100) which receives treated wastewater from the reactor, and thus settles sludge; a second cooler(23) which is installed outside of the clarifier to maintain the wastewater temperature of the clarifier at 20 to 35 deg.C. The system is characterized in that the clarifier is aerated for 30 min per day to 3-8 ppm; and organic load rate (kgCODcr/m¬2day) of the wastewater is 5.0 to 20.
