PURPOSE: A data traffic path setting method for an MPLS(Multi-Protocol Label Switching) type in a data communication network is provided to set two LSPs(Label Switched Paths) for one ingress-to-egress traffic transmission in which a high QoS(Quality of Service) is requested and suitably distribute a corresponding traffic quantity transmitted to two LSPs. CONSTITUTION: The first traffic quantity with a predetermined uniform rate about the entire traffic quantity to be transmitted is calculated(S301). Links in which a current margin capacity capable of traffic transmission is less than the calculated first traffic quantity are removed among the entire link between nodes of a communication network(S302). The first distance information value about each residual object link is calculated on the basis of information about a currently used traffic quantity and the calculated first traffic quantity(S303). The first ingress-to-egress traffic path is set up on the basis of the calculated first distance information value(S304). The first traffic quantity is subtracted from the entire traffic quantity to be transmitted for obtaining the second traffic quantity(S305). Links in which the current margin capacity capable of traffic transmission is less than the calculated second traffic quantity are removed from the object among the entire link between the nodes of the communication network(S306). The second distance information value about each residual object link is calculated on the basis of information about the currently used traffic quantity and the calculated second traffic quantity(S307). The second ingress-to-egress traffic path is set up on the basis of the calculated second distance information value(S308). The entire traffic quantity is distributed and assigned on the first ingress-to-egress traffic path and the second ingress-to-egress traffic path(S309).
