PURPOSE: A method for analyzing stress based on a mixed volume and boundary integral equation method is provided to efficiently analyze a stress intensity factor at a cracking opening when static and dynamic load act on a containing body or a solid body including a hole or crack. CONSTITUTION: A mixed volume and boundary integral equation method model is generated by using an FEM(Finite Element Method) preprocessor. Data output from the FEM preprocessor is converted into mixed volume and boundary integral equation method input data. The generated input data is analyzed by using a mixed volume and boundary integral equation method program. The result of the analysis is converted into data to be postprocessed in an FEM postprocessor. The FEM postprocessor postprocesses the data.
