Format For Digital Data Used for Studying Language and Method For Its Replay

PURPOSE: A method for playing digital data for language study is provided to suggest a data form for easy language study dialog. CONSTITUTION: Information on the stored data structure for informing that data are for language study or music is recorded in a map header block. Start addresses of headers for language study and music are recorded in the map header block. A data map block contains data of each dialog such as dialog position data, sizes of each dialog, numbers, start addresses of a sentence and so on. A data block includes compacted foreign language voice data, compacted translation language voice data, foreign language text data and translation language text data. Thereby, a user divides and analyzes the digital data for language study into a sentence unit, a dialog unit and a section unit. Further, the user readily selects and converts from the relation among the foreign language data, the translation language voice data, the foreign language text data and the translation text data.
