PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing skull inside a stainless refining furnace is provided to stably carrying out refining operation by spraying iron powder along with oxygen having a high pressure to the skull stuck to the wall of the refining furnace so as to remove skull fused on the furnace wall with oxidation heat of a high temperature. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a rotation part (20) consisting of an axis (21) which is installed on the outer side surface of a lance (10), and along the circumferential surface of which spline is formed, a boss (22) on the inner side surface of which key grooves are formed so that spline of the axis is inserted and connected, and on the outer circumferential surface of which a gear is formed, a case (23) which is fixed to a lower deck, and into which the axis is penetrated, a support gear (24) and an operating pinion (25) which are installed inside the case, each of which are in gear with both sides of a gear formed on the boss, a rack gear (26) on both sides of which gears are formed respectively, and one side surface of which is in gear with the pinion, and a driving means (30) for straight reciprocating the rack gear, and thereby rotating the lance to left and right inside the refining furnace; and a melting part consisting of a storage container, an iron powder pipe, an iron powder hose, a spray pipe, a solenoid valve, an injection pipe, and a check valve so that skull is melted by spraying high pressure oxygen and iron powder to the skull fused onto the inner wall of the refining furnace.
