PURPOSE: A new coating method for solving problems of rigid coating of Armacor M by TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding is provided, and a method for rigid coating the Armacor M on the surface of a metal by high energy beam cladding is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method for rigid coating Armacor M on the surface of a metal by high energy beam cladding comprises the steps of removing floating matter, scale and oxides by washing the surface of the metal; applying the Armacor M on a material causing metamorphic transformation to the washed surface of the metal; and performing high energy beam cladding by applying high energy beam to the Armacor M that is applied to the surface of the metal, wherein the Armacor M is powder having a composition comprising 24.4 wt.% of Cr, 0.14 wt.% of Ni, 0.12 wt.% of Mn, 0.46 wt.% of Si, 2.4 wt.% of B, 0.1 wt.% of C, and a balance of Fe, the Armacor M is a wire having a composition comprising 26.2 wt.% of Cr, 0.15 wt.% of Ni, 1.2 wt.% of Mn, 0.50 wt.% of Si, 3.7 wt.% of B, 0.08 wt.% of C, and a balance of Fe, the high energy beam is a laser beam or electron beam, the high energy cladding applied metal is a general industrial machine or parts thereof, and the high energy cladding applied metal is a primary system facility of an atomic power plant or parts thereof.
