PURPOSE: Provided is an ultraviolet-screening coating agent containing Fe3+ ion-doped titanium dioxide as a photocatalyst, which is excellent in adhesive force, abrasion-resistance, heat-resistance, and transparency and can be used for coating the outer wall of a container for food and cosmetics. CONSTITUTION: The ultraviolet-screening coating agent comprises 20-35wt% of the colloid state Fe3+ ion-doped titanium dioxide, 1-10wt% of SiO2, 2-5wt% of 3-glycidoxy propyl trimethoxy silane(GPS), 1-3wt% of triethylene tetramine(TETA), and the balance (based on the total 100wt%) being a solvent comprising water and ethanol in the ratio of 1:1, wherein the amount of the doped Fe3+ is 0.5-10.0mol% based on the titanium dioxide.
