PURPOSE: A height control device for chair and desk is provided in which an insert part of a ground contact device is always inserted into an inserting part of a body in a state where the height of a desk and chair is fixed to cause a bolt between a fastening device and the ground contact device not to be exposed to the outside. Therefore, the device exhibits improved appearance. CONSTITUTION: This height control device comprises: a first body(200) formed by a hooking groove(210) fixing to the leg(100) of a chair and desk at the upper end, a screw joint part(220) protruded by a jaw part(221) on the outer surface of a lower end and buried by a nut(230) at the lower end of an inner peripheral surface; a second body(300) formed by an insert part at the lower end of an inner peripheral edge; a screw part(310) fastened to the screw joint part of the first body thereon and formed by a leg inserting space(302) on the upper side by the jaw part when fastened with the first body; and a ground contact device(400) formed by an inserting part(410) to be inserted into the inserting part of the second body.
