SPECIMEN COMPACTION MOLD FOR LARGE CYCLIC TRIAXIAL TEST

PURPOSE: A specimen compaction mold for a large cyclic triaxial test is provided to facilitate the assembling and disassembling of the compaction mold, enhance the accuracy of the cyclic triaxial test, and obtain reliable test result through breakage prevention of a membrane during manufacture of a specimen. CONSTITUTION: A specimen compaction mold for a large cyclic triaxial test comprises a pair of mold bodies(10) formed in a cylinder shape and in perpendicular partition structure; combining units(16) combining the mold bodies; a pedestal(20) disposed to the lower end of the mold bodies; and a collar(30) installed to the upper part of the mold bodies, to fit a membrane(40). A fitting(12) giving negative pressure to the inside of the mold bodies is formed to the outside of the mold bodies. Air passages(15) are formed to an inner wall(14) of the mold bodies in a lattice type. Rubber pads(17) are attached to the inner wall.
