FIELD: veterinary surgery. SUBSTANCE: method deals with isolation of serous hernial sac followed by cutting it along the edge of umbilical opening from the one side up to the middle line, then the plasty is performed to create a duplicature. For this purpose one should use the whole serous hernial sac which should be fixed to the valli by sutures. The method enables to exclude hernial relapses. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
