FIELD: automation of synthetic rubber production process in petroleum chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves controlling processes in parallel-operating batteries in two reactors and mixer by regulating burden consumption and temperature in reactors through changing catalyst consumption, measuring burden concentration and temperature and catalyst level in mixer; additionally using refrigerator for burden, burden holding vessel equipped with cooling jacket, sensor and valve at liquid refrigerant supply lines for supplying refrigerant into reactors cooling jacket and into burden holding vessels, level sensor and liquid propane valve, valve at line for sucking gaseous propane vapors from burden refrigerator, held burden temperature sensor, sensor and valve at line for supplying monomer into burden downstream of burden refrigerator, and sensor positioned at polymerization battery outlet end and adapted for controlling concentration of remaining monomer; setting burden holding time and time during which catalyst is in mixer; feeding burden into first reactors of parallel-operating batteries and catalyst into line for feeding burden from mixer of burden, with amount of supplied catalyst being in proportion to amount of supplied burden; controlling temperature in first reactor depending on absolute deviation of it within the range of &Dgr;T1, &Dgr;T2, &Dgr;T3. When temperature deviation reaches the value of &Dgr;T1, supply of liquid refrigerant into cooling jacket of burden holding vessel is corrected; when temperature deviation reaches the value of &Dgr;T2, burden concentration is corrected by feeding monomer into burden downstream of refrigerator, and when temperature deviation reaches &Dgr;T3, flow rate of liquid refrigerant into cooling jacket of reactor is corrected. Method further involves determining concentration of remaining monomer at polymerization battery outlet end and proportionally correcting amount of catalyst fed into mixer in case said concentration deviates from predetermined value.
