摘要

FIELD: medicine, biotechnology, veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: innovation deals with treating and preventing cancer and states caused by hyperactive immune system. Low-molecular endogenous growth factor (LM-EGF) has molecular weight being below 3000 Da, water-soluble, thermically stable, is not protein-similar and inhibits cellular growth. LM-EGF is used to secrete muscular cells and leukocytes. LM-EGF is obtained due to cultivation of muscular cells or leukocytes. Supernatant of cellular culture is gathered, filtered through membrane corresponding to 3000 Da and purified chromatographically. Cancer or predisposition to cancer disease is diagnosed by LM-EGF excess in patients against average LM-EGF content value in healthy people. Treatment or prophylaxis of cancer is carried out by introducing efficient amount of growth regulator for a patient.
