METHOD OF MANUFACTURE OF AIRCRAFT SALON MEMBERS FROM THERMOPLASTIC MATERIALS

FIELD: mechanical engineering; aeronautical engineering; molding curvilinear articles from thermoplastic materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes heating of blanks followed by molding, removal from mold and cutting margin from part. Sheet blank is preheated for drying at temperature 50 to 70 C. Then, mold is placed on movable part of working table and heated to temperature of 50 to 90 C, after which thermoplastic sheet is laid on immovable part of working table, secured by means of hold-down frame and heated to temperature of 140 to 180 C on either side to impart plasticity. Then, blank is molded by feeding the mold to molding zone by movable part of working table and creating vacuum in this zone. EFFECT: facilitated procedure; reduced time of procedure; avoidance of effect of toxic materials on personnel. 4 dwg
