METHOD FOR FIXING CENTRAL RELATION OF JAWS IN THE CASES OF NO TEETH AVAILABLE IN THE ORAL CAVITY

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining central occlusion when closing jaws with wax bases having occlusion rollers being used. Metal plate of 0.5-0.7 mm matching occlusion surface of the inferior wax roller having wax strip taken off corresponding to plate depth is applied. The plate is set therein with its edge projecting by 1-2 mm from the vestibular side all over the whole perimeter. Upper wax roller perimeter is drawn on the horizontal surface of the projecting plate part with a pencil at the moment of jaw fixation in correct position. Clinical reference points are marked for setting artificial teeth. EFFECT: high accuracy of positioning; accelerated production process.
