FIELD: shipbuilding; manufacture of hydrofoil angle-of-attack regulators for seagoing and river ships of small displacement. SUBSTANCE: proposed regulator is manual and mechanical. It is provided with horizontal and vertical rods which are set in motion by means of manual drive for change of hydrofoil angle-of-attack. Manual drive is made in form of helical self-braking pair including screw with nut which may perform reciprocating motion and rigid coupling with said two horizontal rods made from strip steel. Horizontal rods are located in parallel along port and starboard sides on the ship's outside. Said vertical rods are articulated in pairs to horizontal rods; lower ends of vertical rods are rigidly connected with trunnions of hydrofoils included in sliding bearings of vertical rods. Angle of attack of hydrofoils may be changed simultaneously by means of handle of helical pair. Regulator has angle-of-attack dial and two reference tubes which are located vertically for check of distance between hydrofoil and water surface during motion of ship.
