METHOD DETECTING NONLINEAR OBJECT WITH IDENTIFICATION OF TYPE OF NONLINEARITY

FIELD: radiolocation, nonlinear radar equipment employed for search, detection and identification of objects with nonlinear electric properties. SUBSTANCE: method detecting nonlinear object with identification of type of nonlinearity is based on emission of sounding signal in direction of nonlinear object, on reception and recording of response over two channels on second and third harmonics of frequency of secondary electromagnetic field and on identification of type of nonlinearity by relation of amplitudes of output signals of channels. Sounding signal is in addition modulated in amplitude by sawtooth law. Dependence of amplitude of response signal on amplitude of sounding signal is recorded across outputs of channels of receiver. EFFECT: increased probability of identification of type of nonlinear object thanks to generation of additional information on character of change of amplitude of response signal on second and third harmonics with change of amplitude of sounding signal.
