FIELD: medicine, virology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an antiviral composition used for treatment of HIV-infected patients with high viral loading. Composition comprises preliminary activated highly dispersed atomic silver Ag⁰, stabilizing agent taken among the group of nontoxic polymeric compounds being both natural and synthetic ones permitted for using in medicine, distilled water, dimexide, N,N,N¹,N¹-tetramethylthionine chloride and polyethylene oxide (PEG- 1500) gel taken in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: atomic (claster) silver Ag⁰, 0.24-4.0; stabilizing agent for claster silver, 1-5; distilled water, 20-22; dimexide (dimethylsulfoxide), 8-10; N,N,N¹,N¹- tetramethylthionine chloride, 0.07-0.1; polyethylene oxide (PEG-1500) gel, the balance. Invention provides the enhancement of patient treatment effectiveness and decrease of discomfort level for patients in carrying out curative procedures.
