APPARATUS FOR FIXING TOBACCO LEAVES ON TOBACCO STRING

FIELD: postharvest tobacco leaves processing equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has upper pressing conveyor and lower pulling conveyor. Upper pressing conveyor has entry part separated from lower pulling conveyor by wedge-shaped gap and positioned in front of needle. Spring-loaded pressing part is positioned at tobacco leaves fixing place, behind needle. Skid for supporting lower run of pressing conveyor is equipped with parallelogram mechanism. Driven shaft of upper pressing conveyor may be fixed to spring-loaded lever so as to have rocking point beyond drive shaft. Apparatus allows leveled tobacco leaves layer to be produced before fixing said leaves on string. EFFECT: increased efficiency and elimination of tobacco leafstalk rehealing. 2 cl, 2 dwg
