FIELD: veterinary virology, biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: the suggested virus vaccine contains virus-containing material out of attenuated "O" strain of poultry infectious laryngotracheitis virus and protective medium in efficient ratios. The strain in question is deposited in collection of microorganisms of VGNKI at registration name of "O N112- DEP". Virus should be reproduced in 9-11-d-aged embryos of SPF-hens at biological activity of not less than 6,0lg EID_50/cu.cm. To obtain protective medium one should apply (either separately or in combination) saccharose, gelatose, lactose, etc. Virus vaccine is of high immunogenic activity; it is safe and reveals areactogenicity in case of ocular and oral ways of immunization.
