Used as separation criterion Ki is combination of measured characteristics and parameters and/or indices of their spatial inhomogeneity Ki = F{SRj; SLj; SR2j; SL2j; Mj}, where SRj are parameters of spectrum characteristic fluorescent roentgen radiation of material recorded from area; SLj are parameters of spectrum of reflected optical radiation recorded from j-area; Mj = f{SRi•SLj} are characteristics of interdependence between parameters of spectrum of roentgen and optical radiation of area of surface of material of batch and/or single lump of ore obtained experimentally on standard specimens; j is present number of lump of ore.
