HAND SHARPENING DEVICE FOR DRILLS (VERSIONS)

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in repair shops. Proposed hand sharpening device contains drill holder with vee-block, lock and stop placed before "free" cutting edge of drill to be sharpened. According to one designed version, stop and lock are made as parts of one detail, and according to second design version, plane of symmetry of vee-block is tilted to plane passing through axis of drill to be sharpened, in parallel with its main cutting edges. Moreover, drill holder can be furnished with stop installed opposite to land of drill to be sharpened , close to its "free" cutting edge, and stop can be furnished with support member making it possible to adjust feed of drill in process of its sharpening. EFFECT: possibility of sharpening drills of any size, simplified process of sharpening. 12 cl, 7 dwg
