SUBSTANCE: method can be utilized for automatic or express-analyses of zinc production process solutions as well as waste or return waters from nonferrous metallurgy entertainments. Method is based in voltammetric determination of cobalt of stationary mercury electrode in ammonium chloride medium in presence of dimethylglyoxime and hydroxylamine against involving differential pulse polarography technique. Voltammetric curve is registered within voltage range from -1.05 to - 1.30 v at the potential scanning speed 10 mV/s.
