Procedures for better differentiation when processing alarm messages

The alarm processing method involves responding to operation of at least one alarm group within a number of alarm groups. The individual alarm signals provided within a defined pre-alarm time are combined into a single collective alarm. Each alarm is identified by the alarm signal type, the alarm group and a further alarm value criteria. All criteria at the alarm reception point for each alarm group are evaluated, for indicating the intervention priorities.
