The apron conveyor with horizontal and sloping sections has U- profile links (198, 199) to which transverse walls (172) are bolted or welded. These overlap at one end, forming an angle of 2 -15degrees. Wheels (7) are fitted at the rear end of each link. Spring loaded sealing strips (175, 176) seal the spaces between the plates and tubular seatings (201) are mounted on the side walls, into which the connecting bolts (12) are fitted.
