摘要
Metal from first primary group of periodic table or water-reactable metal compound is introduced into molding tool cavity with water either before during or after melt injection. The water and metal react to release hydrogen whose explosion presses melt against cavity walls. Explosively produced chambers may also be created by introduction of sodium peroxide, sulfur and glycerine into melt or by reaction between oxidizing agent and oxidizable material.
